Workflow execution is usually initiated by requesters or external systems or other workflows (in the case of children workflows). Requesters can start workflow execution by creating a new workflow (of different types that are available for the user) from the Launchpad as shown below.
In the example below, the requester creates a process for Quality Issue by selecting “New” Quality Issue from the LaunchPad
