In addition to and in support of workflow management, ZFlow also supports managing data. The 3 main types are
- Documents (Files)
- Parts
- Forms (represents structured data)
You can use the metadata editor to design new sub-classes under Forms to represent different types of structured data that can be used with and without workflows. Parts are particularly useful for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Sourcing workflows. And Documents (Files) are universally useful.
In addition, ZFlow supports history management using version and revision management for objects of data classes.
